Happy Pigs

These are our pigs! We share them with the neighbors and they live on their property, so I don't see them very often. Last week the neighbors were out of town, so one evening we all walked over with Eric while he fed them. Although, on Saturday while I was shooting a wedding the guys moved the pen and now they're closer to us.

We've had a few instances of them getting out and having to chase them back into their cage. Last week while the neighbors were gone and Eric was at work the kids and I pulled into our driveway to the neighbor's aunt telling me the pigs were out. His mom and a man that lives a few doors down were trying to corral them back into their cage. I quickly changed into my old boots and then ran over and helped get them in. Outwardly it was serious business, but inwardly I was cracking up. Here's me, dressed nice but with muddy boots and three older people chasing a bunch of pigs around.

(Oh, and if you're wondering, that's chalk all over Silas. Also, the boys are always shirtless outside and sometimes wearing just undies. Finley, she usually doesn't have anything on.)
