Last week my mother in law took all three boys to the zoo. They had such a great time with Grandma and Finley and I got some special girls' time. We headed downtown because I was on the hunt for some cute ankle boots. I didn't find any downtown (although, I did find some!), but Finley spotted these pink girly glasses. They are so her.
If you want to get a feel for Finley's typical style vs. my typical style (for her), she picked out the shirt (and, of course, the sunglasses!) and I picked out the shorts. She's my cool girly-girl.
Do your kids have opinions on what they wear or are they happy to put on whatever you pick out? What are they wearing this week? Can't wait to see!

Ha! Funny, I wrote about EXACTLY this thing today. Stella will not wear any shoes but her natives. And while they're cute, they don't really go with dresses. Le sigh. Try as I might, she insists on her GREEEEEEN SHOES, which, PS are purple.

ReplyDeleteNiko picks out his own outfits now that he's four. he would yank out the shirts from his closet and sometimes break the hangers so now all his shirts are in a dresser where he can get to them. but he will not let me choose his outfits. no way. he will even cry!
Luna doesn't care. she will pick her own sometimes if she's going through the laundry or drawers.. but she's easy going... for now.

ReplyDeleteMy boys pick out their own clothes. They wear a uniform to school during the week, so that means that EVERY WEEKEND, they wear the same thing- angry birds shirts and silky basketball shorts- ugh! I need to smarten up, and not do laundry before the weekend, so their favorites are not clean!!
Thankfully, Avery still lets me choose her clothes- I'll hold onto that as long as I can!!!
