Last night we got home from a trip to Half Moon Bay, a small coastal town about 20 minutes South of San Francisco. It was so nice being in the cool, breezy weather and having my mom and grandparents there to help with the kids. I actually got to relax, which was SO nice!
My half marathon is in Half Moon Bay and I got a few runs in while we were there. Running in 60 degree weather, with a breeze, on the coast is SO much easier than 100 degree Chico weather. I can't wait until September for the race!
The first night we ate fish and chips and then walked out on the wharf. The kids loved seeing a sea lion diving under water and then popping back up several times.

The next morning, while it was still chilly and overcast, we walked around the adorable downtown. Eric and I had been to Half Moon Bay a few times, but it was the first time for my mom and grandparents. We drank coffee and ate treats from a cafe and peeked in the cute shops.
I have more Half Moon Bay photos to share, especially of our time at the beach, but I'll share them tomorrow...I don't want to overwhelm you with photos!

Morgan, the kids are all looking so old! =) And you keep looking younger! Hope you had a great vacay!
