Every year for the 4th of July we go to a celebration in the park. This year we skipped the pancake breakfast (Eric had to work early in the morning) and, instead, went for lunch and a little bit of swimming with my grandparents and mom. After Finley's nap we barbecued and relaxed (we're still settling in and will be for awhile, really)- just the six of us. After I put Finley to bed Eric and the boys headed out for the fireworks.
Overall, it was a mellow, relaxing, great day.
Tomorrow is Small Style! For all of you that were ready to link up last week - I'm so sorry! For all of you who reminded me it was supposed to be last week- thank you for the reminder! After tomorrow, the next Small Style will be August 2nd and then we'll resume the weekly link-up September 4th. Thank you for being patient with me amidst the chaos of moving! Then I saw your post about the For Elyse fashion show and thought, is she from Chico? I grew up in Chico and have been friends with Amber, who owns the For Elyse stores, since 7th grade. What a small world! =) Super cool to come across your blog. Your pictures of home(Chico) are gorgeous and make me miss it soo much more. I haven't been in 6 years. I'm in Canada now.
