Small Style #47

Happy Thursday! With MLK Jr Day on Monday this week has flown by for me. I'm ready for the weekend. How about you? Today we're off on a day trip, but I'll be checking out your posts tomorrow and this weekend. I can't wait to see your sweeties!

Just to keep it real, I have to include these photos. My subject wasn't very cooperative this week. She spent most of the time running away from me, so this is what the majority of the pictures looked like:

Sweater and Shorts- Zara, Tights- Target, Bow- Adornme Girl, Shoes- See Kai Run via Zulily, Water bottle- Klean Kanteen (a local Chico company!)

About Finley's outfit, I want it in my size. I'm a huge fan of the tights under shorts trend (and, no, I'm not being sarcastic) and I've been on a hunt for a sweater like this in my size for a long time. Does anyone know of one that doesn't cost a million dollars? Do you ever dress up your kids in styles you like to wear (or maybe ones that you're too scared to try)? Everything looks good on little ones!

(If you haven't already, don't forget to enter the giveaway for one of Color Land's gorgeous dolls!)

  5. I often wish I could wear things that I put on my daughters. But I am not gutsy enough to try it. Also, my subjects run away from me often as well. :)

  6. ..totally agree - would love this in my size too! I often fall prey to dressing my gal and I similar - and feel silly for it sometimes too - but they always do look good in mini-version!
    Have a great weekend! ;o)

  7. I love the shorts over tights, I am just not brave enough to give it a whirl myself. But Finley is totally rocking the look.

As for the sweater, I have one in a J.Crew XS in green, but it has a short torso. If that suits your fancy, I would gladly gift it to you. It hasn't fit me for a few years, and I would love to see it have a good home! p.s. it is so hard to tell what size people are over a blog, am I right?

Do you have Aritzia where you are? They have some similar sweaters in mama sizes.

  11. Haha, Stella always runs the oposite way, like TOWARDS me so that she can see herself on the camera. It's just about her favorite thing. Makes taking pictures kind of hard though.
Also, I'm digging the shorts / tights combo (it's HUGE in asia, btw. Everyone rocks that look). I've been putting Stella in corduroy shorts and tights and kind of dying of cuteness. So, yes. I'm loving miss Finley's outfit.
