I could have said it all the same - not in love with HS, not easy, but it's the best for us right now! Hugs mama <3
ReplyDeleteI just started reading your blog, and love it! I just pulled my two oldest kids out of public preschool, Caillou (just turned 5) and Jasper 3. We are beginning our homeschool journey. I loved hearing your vlog. You mention some challenges, a time of depression and having younger ones underfoot, it really touched my heart. I went through a very bad battle with depression last spring, and it was so hard to get back to "me" and now that I am back, I still find myself second guessing myself, and I guess just being worried that Miss. Depression is lurking in the shadows coming to get me. It held me back from starting homeschool last year, but I am so excited that we have started now. I have a 20 month old too... and wow the stuff he gets into while we are schooling, AGGGHHH! And in July, we are adding a 4th to our bunch... hopefully a girl... three boys so far! Anywho I am rambling, I just wanted to say, I really love your honesty about homeschool, and overwhelmed feelings, and just being real. I look forward to reading more about your adventures!
ReplyDeletewhich carter do you use for your homeschooling? and which waldorf?
ReplyDeleteI just adore you.
ReplyDeleteI loved your explanation and I love your heart. Having struggled (and sometimes still) with depression, I am in even MORE awe of you and how you handle it!

thank you so much for posting this, and the other info from your personal experience with homeschooling. My husband and I are facing the up and coming decision of whether we are going to homeschool or not. I'll be the teacher, and the idea sort of intimidates me as well as really excites me. I worry about the socializing part of it, as well as when my other little one will come of schooling age. There's so much to consider.
ReplyDeleteLove the video -- and it was so nice to hear your voice again! <3
ReplyDeleteMorgan, you have the best heart! LOVE your honesty and willing to be open. It reminds the rest of us mama's that we aren't the only ones with struggles ;-)
ReplyDeleteHey! Thanks for sharing about homeschooling. Was wondering which charter school do you go through?
