  2. I get frustrated about the 'oh, you have one of each, you're done right??' As you said, gender does not determine anything about the number of children most parents want to have!!

  3. Could you be anymore cute in real life? It was so much fun to hear your voice and see your pretty smile. As you know I come from a big family and love it! Big families are fun. Being a parent is hard, I don't know how my parents did it! I think we will have three, but we will have to see. . .

  6. Such a sweet vlog :)

We had 1 boy and then 19 months later had twin girls. People ask/assume we are done as well. If I say I'd like to have more, people just look at me like I'm crazy. Maybe I am but I'm okay w/ that :)

  7. I stumbled upon your blog in search for homeschooling. A while back that you mentioned some kind of part-time schooling and I have been itching to read your side to that. I see many benefits to homeschooling but feel that making the decision to homeschool needs to be long term – which scares me a bit. How do you like homeschooling so far and could you see that your kids will (or want to) go back into the classroom?

  9. Love the vlog ... and your honesty! I so agree that it all REALLY happens according to God's plans, not ours. We have always said, and still do, that we will have as many as God allows - meaning physically, emotionally, financially, etc. We just found out baby #2 is on the way! Solomon is 15 months old now, and we didn't know when we started this parenthood thing that we would be having our babes so close together, but I wouldn't trade it. It's all very exciting!!!

  10. You are just lovely! What are some things you enjoy in your free time when it's just "mama time?" What is your favorite thing (right now) about each of your kiddos? :)

Hope you're having a super weekend!

  12. I never comment, but I'm making an exception here. You present yourself very well via vlog. Kuddos! Often the vlog entries on blogs are disheartening because good bloggers, may be good writers and poor speakers. I was very pleasantly surprised with your post. Thanks for sharing your family and style with us.

  16. Thank you for sharing this :) Wow our kids are almost in the same line up! (I have ages 6,5,3 and 1 - one girl (oldest) and 3 boys - and we will be married 7 years come this Sunday)

We recently lost our baby (our 2nd baby with Jesus) and it has been really hard.

Prior to marriage we had always talked about having 10 - 12 (we both come from large fams. me-9 he-12),the "plan" was ultimately just leaving the size up to the Lord totally (meaning no forms of birth control at all)
We have a love and a heart for children and view them as a gift from God, but I agree 4 so close and homeschooling can be hard. Our views have changed with experience. We totally view children as a gift from God and if we have a "surprise" that is a blessing, but honestly we are taking a serious break...and probably will only have 2 more (if we can even have more).

I love my crazy little family and would not change it for the world. But sometimes momma goes a little crazy and needs a break from having babies, so that she can enjoy the ones she has before her :)

    Thanks again for your honesty.
