Three little monkeys in the tub.
Tonight it's just Samuel, Silas, Finley and I at home. Judah is at his very first friend sleepover. I'm feeling a little bit sentimental and nostalgic. I know he's having a fabulous time (it's at the home of some of our very best friends), but it's a little bit hard for me to let go. This is just another step of my baby getting older and sometimes I wish that I could keep them in my arms forever. Growing up is a good thing and I know it's healthy for him to have new experiences and spread his wing (yes, I am incredibly cliche), but that's hard for this mama. I'm happy that Judah gets a fun night with his friend. My house is just so quiet.
Eric's out of town for the weekend and I can't wait to share with you what he's doing. It's a fun
I'm thankful for... quiet nights alone. I love spending the evenings with Eric, but sometimes it's nice to read blogs and watch a super girly show or movie.

I can totally relate. Niko stays with his grandma once a week (because they love each other that much!) and he's there tonight. So today we've been hanging with Luna going out to eat, reading her books and cuddling. Its so special to me to have alone time with her since I had so much time with Niko. and right now she's sleeping and the mister went to dj so I'm watching " crazy, stupid, love" chick flick time! XOXO!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat super girlie movie did you watch?
ReplyDeleteI've been converted to AJ's genre of move for so many years that I find I don't have as much fun watching a movie if I'm watching it alone - even if it's girlie! I like romantic comedies (You've Got Mail), and I have to admit that AJ enjoys Pride and Prejudice with me (all versions). I could use some suggestions for when he's out of town so what are your favorites?
i love when all the kids are in the tub. so cute! we haven't had the sleep over yet...i don't think i'm ready ;) although i know jonas is.
ReplyDeleteSuch a precious photo! I love being with my Mr. and our Little Miss but also can appreciate a quiet evening :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute pic! Glad to have you back with your camera in hand. I'm usually the one out of town, so I LOVE a night when Benson's busy. Coincidentally, I read this post earlier this week and it was one of few nights of the year I was without Benson...and I was catching up on blogs and wanting to watch a chick flick too. :)
