I didn't want to use the word "outfit" in the title, because I use it so much. I thought of using "get up," but that's too cowboy. Is ensemble too band-ish? I guess this is just another plain old Fall outfit.
I had been wanting a pair of boots like these for over a year. When I spotted a pair at the thrift store I was so excited. I paid $20 for them, which is more than I've ever spent at a thrift store for one item, but it was worth it. Now that I have them, though, I feel so awkward wearing them. I don't know how to style them and I kind of feel like I'm wearing a costume. I think next time I'll try them with black skinny jeans and, hopefully, I'll feel a little more confident. Do you ever feel like that when you try a new (to you) trend?
Oh, and in case you were wondering, these pictures were taken in the super bright sun with a car full of people watching. Awwwwkward.

You look adorable! I LOVE the color of that cardigan.
ReplyDeleteI never wear much white/cream in winter but always love how it looks layered up! You've inspired me to try it out a little as this is a truly lovely outfit!

ReplyDeletei want some boots like you have so...if you don't want them...someone else does! ;)
You look so cute! I'd never think to buy a black scarf, but you make it work so well! Looks great with that green! I always feel like everyone's looking at me with new trends- scarves is one of them! I feel so self-conscious with a scarf on, or when I attempt to wear a belt over a dress or something!
