That cute little baby is Toby, my good friend Jenna's youngest. Jenna's daughter and Judah and Samuel were at Vacation Bible School (a day camp at the church) this week. On Friday they had a barbeque and water day where the parents and siblings were invited to hang out. The highlight for the boys was definitely the massive, seemingly-never-ending water fight. For Finley the highlight was baby Toby (or, "baby Tody," as she calls him). I felt bad for Jenna, but she would not stay away from him. She wanted to feed him his cup of water, help with his baby food, give him his toy, and pretty much just stayed all up in his business the whole time.
Finley loves playing with her baby dolls, giving them kisses and hugs, and pushing them in her stroller or shopping cart, but real babies are her favorite. I think this little lady will be a pretty great mama some day.
Today is the last day to enter the super stinkin' cute giveaway from Color Land! I'll announce the winner tomorrow.

These pictures are adorable!
ReplyDeleteaudrey is the same way. she was 11 months old she carried a baby with her every.single.place.she.went. now she is always hugging on real babies, which is sweet, but like you said, i feel bad for the real babies sometimes. ;)
ReplyDeleteand what a fun vbs week!
So sweet of Finley! We also did VBS about two weeks ago. The theme was "Big Apple Adventure" and Lily lived it :)
ReplyDeleteoops...I meant to say Loved it :)
ReplyDeleteMy niece was at the same vbs this week! She said she really liked it. Look how cute your girl is, I think she's posing for the camera in the second one!
ReplyDeletedawh!my uterus is aching!what a bunch of squishy awesomeness!
ReplyDeletePRECIOUS!
ReplyDeleteso sweet! Lily doesn't care much for babies, she likes bigger kids. when i ask her if she wants a baby she says "no". lol
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
ReplyDeleteBabies who love babies are THE BEST! Stella is obsessed with other babies. She can spot a baby from miles away, and if we're visiting someone's house, she'll get her hands (and drool) all over their baby pictures if I'm not careful. I hope that this means many many many future grandchildren for me. (Is it weird that I'm thinking this far down the line???)
ReplyDeleteooooh myyyyy
