Right now Eric and I are enjoying our room and about to go down for the breakfast part of our bed and breakfast. We had a great day yesterday (I didn't bring my camera cord, so I'll share pictures when I get home) and this morning we're going to go visit Bethel Church, get lunch, and get home to our kids. It's so nice having some quiet time to get away and just be together, but as a mom, it's always a little bittersweet. When we vacation with the kids our entire trips revolve around them, but when we leave them home I miss them so much. I think it's so important for couples of young kids so have time away, though, so we're thoroughly enjoying our time and are so, so thankful for grandparents who watch our kids.
Being away from little ones or loved ones really gives us a great chance for perspective and realizing how much we love them and sometimes take them for granted. I hope you have a dreamy good time!
