'Tis the Season

..for yard sales!

I have only been to a few yard sales this year, but I can't wait to visit lots and lots more. I remember growing up my dad would stop at yard sales and I would just wait in the car, so uninterested. Well, that's definitely changed. Do you like yard sales? What do you look for?

  2. Oh man. The town I live in has pathetic yard sales. It's bad. But I will continue trying to find that one "steal".

  7. I love yard "sailing" that is what I call it, because I like to sail through the paper to see if there are any for the weekend. Then I like to Sail through the yard sale. lol I look for vintage stuff, old books, dishes and linens. I also look for toys and kids books in good condition for the grandkids when they visit Grammy's house.

  8. I love hosting garage sales so much. It is a true passion. Honestly, I'm addicted to de-cluttering. Sometimes I've gone so far as to buy things at Goodwill so I can sell them at my garage sale to "round out" what I have to offer. I kid you not. I have done that. I learned that trick from my mother who is the true garage sale queen, her house has a reputation! I really, really, REALLY love garage sales!
