Welcome to Small Style #4. I'm having so much fun taking pictures of my kids and looking at all of yours. I'm so glad you are, too. Thank you so much for participating!
The pictures I took today are in Finley's room. When I was pregnant with Finley we didn't find out what we were having. After having three boys my husband was positive we were having a fourth boy. During my ultrasound we brought all of our boys with us to "see" their new baby. Towards the end they started getting restless and since it was almost over Eric took them all outside.
While they were outside the ultrasound tech said, "there are the thighs" and when I looked up I saw girls parts. I told my husband and even told my midwife and they were both like, "no, you wouldn't know a girl if you saw it." I second guessed myself during that time, but when she came out our precious little princess it was confirmed that I had indeed saw a baby girl on that ultrasound picture.
After three boys and a whole lot of blue, dirt, and other boy things my thoughts all turned to pink. I decided to paint one wall of her room a pretty aqua instead of pink (my husband didn't really have an opinion on the paint situation), but the room still needed pink. I was so excited when I found this chair for just a few bucks at a yard sale. It was a dull wood with red and green, but with it's spray paint makeover it is just the right amount of pink for a girly girl's room.
If you want to see Finley's room you can here. (I just realized I never did share the whole room tour. I'll have to do that soon.)
And, the chair makeover is here.
And, of course, link up here!

Ha Ha..isnt it funny how even at that age the boy and girl versions are sooo different?
ReplyDeleteI love it. And you know I know what it's like to have that girl after boys!

ReplyDeleteHer little smile and clasped fingers are precious!
ReplyDeleteWe aren't find out the sex of our baby either, and luckily I haven't seen any "parts"...so same with the nursery situation. We're doing aqua walls with green and yellow accents. But if it's a girl, pink will have to sneak in!
Love her Cardigan such a cute color and it looks great on her!
ReplyDeleteThat first picture of Finley with her hands meeting together all sweet like is just about the most charming thing I've ever seen! What an precious doll! <3 You make me so excited to dress up my little girl when she arrives!
