Ruffle Dress and Ask Mama

ruffle dress
Dress- Lulu's, Tights- Target, Boots- Steve Madden

It seems while the rest of the country is seeing their first glimpses of Spring our glimpse of Spring has come and gone and we're back to square one. We had a huge storm two nights ago with super loud wind and clouds that covered the super moon. I was really excited about seeing it after seeing the gorgeous full moon on Friday night, but it just didn't happen.

Eric was supposed to be at a trade show this weekend, but they (meaning Eric and Judah) left after a few cold and wet hours on Saturday. Sunday morning Eric took Samuel over and they stayed just long enough to pack up their stuff and leave. I just looked up the weather and it's supposed to rain all week long. That sound be fun.

Oh, and I haven't done this in a long, long time (although, I have recently done an Ask Papa series), but I thought it would be fun to do an "Ask Mama" post. Have any questions for me? Ask away!

  1. Hi, I'm pretty new to your blog, I've really enjoyed going through it when I have time. not sure if you've posted about your daily schedule, sorry if you have and I haven't seen it yet. but I did want to ask what your daily life looks like. I have two young babies and I'm slowly working on setting up a schedule (kids do that to you;) but I really enjoy hearing others moms schedules and the way they do things. also, I love the outfits you put together, but....do you dress up everyday? I've got a newborn who nurses like every 5 minutes:) so I'm trying to give myself grace, but someday I go to bed in the same thing I woke up in....sad, I know:)

  2. We are one part of the country that is enjoying beautiful sunny skies, mild temperatures and breezes. Hoping it lasts for a while!

    Question:
Who would you say is the celebrity(if there is one) that inspires you the most style-wise?

HI Morgan!! ahhh so many questions! #1 do you have a daily schedule?
#2 Do you plan on having more children? # 3 Did you ever have difficultly conceiving?
Being a stay at home mom is such a difficult job! I am a new stay at home mom and I've found myself getting depressed or sad randomly.. maybe it's cabin fever or maybe I'm just exhausted? #4 My questions is do you ever feel this way? How do you get yourself out of slumps?
last!! I also love your outfit posts your clothes are so cute. #5 Do you ever feel guilty shopping for yourself?
    Love your blog!

  5. I'm new to the blog as well. I like it because we seem to have lots in common, but also a lot different. I have three boys but am on the other side of the spectrum fashion-wise. I wear sweats Nearly. Every. Day. Wrote a post about it. Pathetic, but they're comfy!

  7. A last minute question!

    * Were you ever afraid about giving birth and how did you conquer that fear? I'm planning a birth with no pain meds (I'm nearly 37 weeks with my first) and the prospect seems so daunting now that I'm so close!

    * Also this question Britney had about being a stay at home mom and feeling stifled. We plan having our children fairly close, much in the way you have, and I was wondering if you ever felt a lack of freedom, free time, etc. and how you coped with it. I feel blessed to get the chance to be a stay at home mom unlike my mother who worked full time and alone for me, but I am scared nonetheless!
