Give Thanks

I made a Thanksgiving banner

I moved the leaf garland to another place in the living room and replaced it with this one. Another month, another banner, right?

I used vintage fabric for the rectangles, felt for the letters and bias tape for the top.

Today I'm thankful for me time, however rare it may be, and creative outlets. As a busy mom I treasure those times and, thanks to my husband, this weekend I had time for some sewing, two coffee dates, and shopping with my mom. In spite of the sicknesses we've been dealing with I actually feel refreshed.
