Christmas Preview

Tonight was our city's Christmas Preview. Every year there is a special night (usually after Thanksgiving, but they'll probably be doing it in June next year) where all of the downtown businesses officially open for the Christmas season. There are bands, carolers, dancers, and stores handing out treats like apple cider, cookies, and brownies.

It was freee-zing this year (ok, not freezing, but seriously cold at under 50 degrees), so we made our way around quickly. We had an early birthday dinner with family at the recently re-opened Tres Hombres before checking out the stores.

(I must have been cold because I didn't take ONE picture. Whoops!)

I am so thankful for all of the annual events and local traditions here in my hometown.
