Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the man who would let me ride on his bike seat while he pushed it along,
took me to Sutter's Fort and the Exploratorium
(and gave me a love for museums and history),
and likes to talk about "the Republicans."

Happy Father's Day to the man who raised his son to be hardworking
and provide for his family,
does the poopy diaper changes,
and likes to talk about "the liberals."

(And, Happy Father's Day to my grandpas, too!)


Happy Father's Day to the man who is politically moderate,
the best pool man around,
is so funny with his dry sense of humor,
wrestles with his boys,
and laughs at their jokes,
is always trying something new (beer/mead brewing right now),
loves to learn new things,
is steadfast in his love and commitment to me,
and the kids,
and is all around pretty dang amazing.
I could not have have imagined a better father for my children.
You truly are the best.
We are so incredibly blessed by your life and the way that you love.
