I feel so good now that I'm (finally) starting to exercise regularly again. One of my favorite ways to exercise is walking in the park. It's so fun to go with friends and talk and it doesn't feel like a workout at all. But, with the four, it's darn near impossible, unless someone else can push one of my strollers or we go at the boys' pace and let them walk or ride.
I've been going to the gym a lot again and my favorite part is the childcare. I LOVE that I can have an hour (or two if I wasn't freaked out to leave Finley that long) to myself. I haven't yet, but I plan to go in the hot tub (I miss it from not using it during pregnancy) and maybe even sit in the cafe. There's even spa where you can get a massage or a pedicure. Doesn't that sound amazing?
But, probably my favorite "exercise" is family walks. Last night Judah rode h scooter, Finley rode in the Moby, and the rest of us walked, including Captain. We went to this Native American marshland near our house. At leas,t that's what it said on the sign. It's gorgeous with wildflowers and trails and even a water fountain for dogs. It was a long way for the boys (we brought the double stroller for when they needed a break, but the air was cool and perfect and we had fun as a family. Total bliss!
