Samuel is 4!

Happy Birthday, my sweet Samuel!

Tonight as I laid next to in your bed (as you've been wanting me to do every night the past few nights) I told you your birth story. All about how fast you came and what an exciting and special night it was.

Your response was, "oh." But, I know you liked hearing it.

And, soon after I finished I could feel your body relax and your breathing deepen. Four years ago today I laid in bed next to you, with you sound asleep.

Four years ago today was one of the best days of my life.
