Getting my crafty on...again!

For Valentine's Day I made zippered pouches for Judah and Samuel to keep their treasures in. This tutorial from MADE was super easy to follow and understand. Along with appliqued t-shirts for each of the boys.

The boys loved their zippered pouches and they actually worked(!), so I made one for myself with ruffles.

I see lots more of these in my future with lots of different embellishments.

I'm trying to find some more time for sewing. I haven't sewn anything in over a week. Between homeschool, nursing a baby, feeding my family, laundry, dishes, and trying to keep my house somewhat clean it's hard to find a spare moment. At night when the kids are in bed I am exhausted myself. Most days are ended with Eric, Finley, and I on the couch watching The Office, 24, Lost, or Heroes. I'm sure many of you know what I mean!

As I was taking these pictures Silas came up to me saying, "cheese!" Sorry that it's blurry. I was trying not to use my flash and after one picture Silas was done.

*Sorry if you have this post twice. I've been blogging and scheduling them to post for later lately. Seems to work well with the time management! :)

  2. Super cute Morgan!! And you attempted zippers! I'm still super scared by those. I wish you could make it on Friday...I haven't seen you in ages...I'll bet Finley is all grown up now! :)

  3. You sound like my true twin (name and all, haha)! Justin and I watch the same shows... it's how we spend every night. It's kind of sad, now that I think about it... we bust out the ice cream after we put the baby down and watch 'our shows' like old people. :) I love it though.

Thanks for the comment on my blog! Yours is quite adorable!

  4. I love that ruffle pouch! I also just used that blue circle fabric to make a changing pad and onesie the other week!
