Thankful

I've been reminded a lot lately (lately as in the past months or year, not just days, because it happens to be Thanksgiving) about thankfulness. Although, because it is Thanksgiving, I'll share it with you.

About a month ago I was driving down the street and hit with thankfulness over what my life is vs. what my life could be. My life is so full of goodness and blessing. I am thankful for all that I have to be thankful for.


My kids have the most amazing father.

I've chosen to forgive because I've been forgiven.

I'm surrounded by my family, amazing friends, and a God who loves me.

I'm in love with Jesus.

I have a husband who takes care of me, so I can be a stay at home, homeschooling mom, loves me unconditionally, is committed to me through the best AND worst of times, is faithful, is patient, is loving, and just the all around best guy.

I have three healthy, amazing, beautiful, perfect boys.

I've had an event-free pregnancy and will get to meet my newest baby very, very soon.

I have a warm, safe house with more than enough room for my family.

I have a cute puppy.

I have a mom who I can call when I need sympathy and someone to understand, a dad who takes us out to lunch and lets the boys play on his truck, a soldier sister who calls and texts, in laws who love my kids and do so much for us, a friends who I adore, a grandma who calls me everyday....I'm surrounded by love.

The life that I live is simply by grace. I didn't do anything to get it or deserve it. If I didn't know Jesus I would think it was by accident. I'm so thankful for all that I have.

P.S. I know everyone's circumstances are different. The thing about thankfulness is that it's always there. Everyone has something to be thankful for. I am thankful that I am alive. I am thankful that I am healthy. I am thankful for...
