There are days when I struggle to take care of my home and my family. And, those are the days I really appreciate my mom for doing all of that AND working a full time job. I didn't fully appreciate all that my mom did for my sister and I until I had kids of my own.
I love my mom and I'm so thankful that she's not only my mom, but my friend. I can call her up (like I did the other day) when I'm upset and she understands and just knows exactly what to say. My mom is nurturing and generous and loves to spoil my family and, of course, we all (Eric included) love her so much.
I hope my boys grow up seeing me in the same way that I see mine: someone who is always for me, always encouraging, and always on my side.

awesome! Moms are the greatest, aren't they? Sounds a lot like my mom. So glad you are close to yours as well. It is a cherished gift to call a mother a friend as well!
