At Costco a little boy loudly said, "Are you pregnant?"
"Yep."
"I knew it! I KNEW IT!"
I could tell his parents were embarrassed. ha!
An old lady came up to me and asked how old I was. I told her 26 and she proceeded to tell me about her life: she married at 14 and had 9 kids before she turned 30, she has 33 great-grandkids, 23 of them living in the area. It was so fun to chat with her. I find I meet lots of older people with big families when I'm out with my kids. So fun!
At church we're going to do a Christmas program and Judah and Samuel were cast as shepherds. I asked Judah if he wanted to be a shepherd. "No, I want to be Joseph." He's definitely not shy!

ReplyDeleteI forgot you are only 26. My goodness, I have some catching up to do, and I'm already gettin' old. Hopefully I am still a fun, hip mama like you when I have kids. :)
