Twitter-style

I love twitter. It's so easy to type in a short little sentence and not have to write out a whole post with pictures and all. The other day at the gym they were talking about it on The View. If you haven't already, check it out.

So, here are a few random thoughts, twitter style.

-I just bought a new swimsuit from Victoria Secret. I had a $10 off card, a $20 mall gift card, and another $5 off for trying on the new Perfect Fit bra. I am officially motivated to lose these last few baby pounds.

-Tomorrow I'm going running with my friends, Brooke and Alberto.

-In a few weeks we'll be going to San Francisco for the weekend. We asked my mother in law to watch Judah and Samuel and planned to take Silas with us. We are going to go to this luncheon and then hang out in the city. We found out that babies aren't allowed at the luncheon, so we had two choices: not go to the lunch or not bring Silas. Not bringing Silas would also involve weaning him, or at least not nursing him for the weekend. My mom said she'd watch Silas, so number two it is. I'm really, really excited! (But, sad about leaving him and possibly weaning him!)
(Also, will you please leave your favorite restaurant, place to shop, or other place to visit in SF in the comments. Thank you!)

-I can't believe Silas will be one and Samuel will be three so darn soon. Boo!! I love watching them grow and change, but it happens so fast!

-I called my grandma today and told her that I'm pregnant. I'm horrible at April Fools jokes and started laughing hysterically right after I said it.

-We've been really enjoying sermons by Mark Driscoll from Mars Hill. I especially recommend "Men and Marriage" and "Women and Marriage" from the Trial series.

  2. My parents are taking his marriage course through their church right now and are loving it! I attended his church when living in Seattle (with Holly from our DTS)...not much else to say about that. But I do hear rave reviews on the course, although don't agree with his views on the roles women should play in the church and in ministry in general. Just my own beef I guess. Have a fabulous time alone in the city!

  3. So, its a little out of the way, but my fav restaurant in the SF area is Ginzu in Tiburon. Its a stylish little sushi place right on the water. They have a fun atmosphere and good sake!
When Ben and I went there we sat near Lars Ulrich from Metalica! Tres cool!

  4. I love Osha Tai. There are a few of them, but the one I usually go to is at the Embarcadero Center. So yummy! Have a great time.

Hey Mo! I love the Cheesecake Factory at the top of the Macy's buiding in Union Square in SF. There us usually a long wait to get in, but the good thing is that you can go shopping while you wait! ~ Melissa, (aka Morgan's marketing director)
