Today we had to get new front tires on our car, so we took a walk across the street from the shop. There is a tree farm right by there, but we didn't have the double stroller, so we didn't make it that far. We'll have to go another time, though, because it's so pretty.
I haven't been to the gym in a little while (although I'm going a lot next week), so it was nice to get out and walk. I didn't even mind carrying Samuel part of the way, I just told myself it was exercise.

Most Saturdays we have lunch with my dad and sister. My dad works out of town, so the kids love seeing both "Grandpappy" and "Aunt Reni."

Silas really liked the beard
We, also, went to Target, to the grocery, and relaxed at home while Silas took a three hour nap. He's been waking up in the middle of the night and I think it is because he's hungry. The first few days I fed him solid foods he gulped them down. Now every time I try to feed him he gags himself and doesn't want to eat. It doesn't matter what it is, either. I think I'm going to try going back to super watered down (or milked down) rice cereal and start over. Hopefully that will help him sleep better. I'm tired already when I wake up in the morning. Another reason I love Saturday: Eric lets me sleep in!

Morgan the top picture is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat street is one of the prettiest streets in town. Fall and spring are the best times to walk it.
With Silas, you can try some pumped milk with a bit of rice in a bottle if you want right before he goes down. It might help him sleep through the night. Sometimes just mama's milk isn't enough to make it through.
I see you got to wear your new coat! It looks way cute on you!
ReplyDeletethe tree farm is a great place to go walking. not near as long as the path at one mile, but it's perfect for the little guys on their bikes because they can for sure do the entire loop inside. have you seen the bamboo in there?! awesome.
