Day 22: Birthday Weekend

We had a very fun day today! We went to Costco so the boys could take a picture with Santa. They all really liked him! My mother in law asked Samuel if he sat on Santa's lap and he said, "No, just Judah and Silas. I stood." Smart boy, he was right. Noone cried, we got a cute picture (that I need to somehow scan), and Judah and Samuel loved their candy canes. After Judah had gotten off Samuel's lap Silas grabbed onto his beard and sucked his fingers, just like he does with my hair.

Tonight we had my family birthday dinner with my mom, sister, inlaws, and grandparents. It was fun and very delicious! It was, also, the first time Silas sat in a high chair. We had to put stuff behind him, so he wouldn't slouch down, but he stayed in there the whole time, ate his food (rice cereal, pears, and milk), and played with toys and spoons.

I'm tired now, so I think it's time to go watch Who Killed The Electric Car? Tomorrow we'll do some more birthday celebrating. Yay!
