Last night before cell group I was pushing a box (of my outgrown clothes) with my foot into the bathroom. I felt something pop and a pain, but I didn't think much about it. Hoping it would go away. After cell I still felt the pain, but I didn't say anything because 1) it's kind of embarrassing, because the pain is in my pelvis and 2) I was hoping it would just go away.
After everyone went home I had Eric put the boys in the bath and to bed because I couldn't even walk. I just sat in one place for the next hour and a half while Eric was at the prayer meeting, but when he got home I tried to walk and couldn't really. I took some tylenol and went to sleep very uncomfortably. Everytime I had to wake up to pee was horrible!
When I woke up this morning I called the midwife because I still had pain. I thought I had pulled my groin muscle, but she said it was probably a muscle in my uterus. I am supposed to stay off my feet today....ha! That's a little difficult with boys who need breakfast, juice, diaper changes, help going pee-pee. We're still in our jammies and Eric is bringing us lunch. I'm trying to do as little as possible hoping that when I wake up tomorrow morning this pain will be completely gone.
Another thing about staying off my feet means that I have to stay home. I'm not a very good at home person. We usually leave the house everyday to run errands, go to Barnes & Noble, walks in the park, or to the playground, especially on a nice day like today! It's one thing when you're sick and can't get out of bed, it's a whole different thing when you want to be outside!

Praying for healing! I'm so sorry you're in pain.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like exactly what happened to me a few weeks ago. I bet if I had bothered to call the doctor's office, they would have told me that too. Imagine pulling a muscle in your uterus! It just sounds funny, I guess.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I took it very easy for a couple of days, and then I was fine. I just had to be a bit careful after that. I've noticed that since then my pelvis gets very annoyed whenever I wear heels (every Sunday because I don't like flats). But I suck it up, because as I said, I don't like flats! Ha ha
i hope you can rest! at least try and rest. its hard keeping us mama's on the go tied down huh? and you do have amazing little men! i can't wait to see what baby tiny will be like! adorable i'm sure!
ReplyDeleteNext cell group, just ask me to move the box, okay? Haha. I'm so sorry that you're in pain. I need my Morgan back!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon... is there anyone that can play with the boys while you rest up?
ReplyDeleteI am sorry, praying it is healed by now.
ReplyDeleteOuch. Hopefully you are already feeling better
ReplyDeleteHi Morgan! I've enjoyed looking at your blog a couple times since becoming familiar with Mommyhood Adventures. I''m friends with Jamie, and actually your grandparents are friends with mine - the Fedorko's.
ReplyDeleteI've heard "Morgan this" and "Morgan that" for a while now, so it is nice to finally have a face!
Anyway, if you're up to a game, then "tag" you're it!
Come look at rules on my blog site.
Hope you're feeling a bit better now!
Love,Analene
Rest up. Worst time ever to be in pain. Hard to explain to the wee ones why they can't climb you or run and jump up in your arms.
ReplyDeleteI hope you heal quickly. I'm not a good stay at home person either, I feel your pain! Not literal pain, but you know. :)
