Romans 12:2

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Officially love Facebook

So, are you all on facebook? Ok, so I know you probably are. Better late than never, though, right? I tried to sign up for facebook a long time ago, but it wouldn't let me because I have no school or work affilication. Umm, I'm just a mom, ok? (Well, I'm not just a mom, but you know what I mean.)

Anyway, they changed that and now it's just for anyone. They're stepping up their myspace competition. I wasn't that impressed with it at first. It's harder to use and I kept forgetting to login for days and weeks. Then, (the big THEN) I discovered so many long lost DTS friends. (Like, Laura, who reads my blog and never responds....thanks Laura!! haha Laura is my best dts friend. And, she's engaged now, and I know about this all thanks to facebook. wooohoo CONGRATS Laura!!!)

So, all of you that are already apart of it add me as your friend or contact or whatever facebookers call it. And, if you're not then signup and add me. Also, let me "send you beer" because I really want to know what that means, but I'm scared to push it and do something weird to someone I don't even know well. What does it mean, anyway?

Goodbye, My Love!

I miss my husband! He's at a pool man class to become a certified pool man (you'll have to ask him for technical terms) for the night, so it's just me and my little gentleman. (I've been calling them that a lot and Samuel sounds SO cute saying, "gentleman") The last time Eric was gone for the night was when I was pregnant with Samuel and Eric was painting his sister, Jill's, house. We're not away from eachother at night very often and it's so weird and quiet. And, I'm TIRED from taking care of the kids by myself. Eric does so much and I really appreciate him.

Although, we weren't moping around tonight. So, that was good. My mom, Pastor Nicola, and, her daughter, Olivia came over for pizza and just to hang out and chat. My mom helped bathe the kids and get them in their jammies and they went to bed so easily (thanks mom!).

Tomorrow we're going to go to storytime, out to lunch, home for naps, hang out with Shaquaya (my favorite youth girly!), and then my husbanad will be home. Yay!

Do we see a pattern?

Today we hung out with my good friend, Brooke (who needs to start a blog, by the way!). While she was here we had this little conversation.

Me: Judah, do you know what Brooke is?
Judah: No, what is she?
Brooke: I'm a nurse. Do you know what a nurse does?
Judah: Yeah, feeds Samuel.
Brooke & I: haha, laughing....
Judah: Do you feed Peter (her husband) sometimes?
Brooke: No, I don't feed Peter.

Then we explained to him exactly what a nurse is. I guess we talking about nursing/breastfeeding/milk a lot around here, although that is all coming to an ubrupt end....sad.

Hi!

Congratulations, Mark and Laura on the birth of their sweet baby girl, Magdalena Ruth. I was so blessed to be there right when Maggie and Mark came out of the operating room. After a loooonnnng labor (Laura was SUCH a trooper!) she ended up having a c-section. (You can read about it on her blog). Anyway, I was there with my camera ready to document the first few hours of Maggie's life. She is so adorable and I can't wait to see her again!

Eric and I and 48 other people from Zion headed down to LA for the California G12 Convention. It was amazing, not suprisingly. We all recieved a lot of healing and vision for out ministry. Eric and I were able to connect with one of the leaders from Miami and he shared so much strategy with us for reaching the lost and making disciples. That is the Great Commission, you know! :)

I'm so proud of my boys!! Judah is doing such a great job going to sleep all by himself. For awhile we were laying with him, but after falling asleep by himself at Robb & Ellie's, Eric decided it was time for him to do it at home. He's doing so great.

Samuel is talking sooooo much, as usual. The other day he even said a 4 word sentence. Unfortunately I can't remember what it was, but I'm sure it will come back to me very soon. He can pretty much repeat any word we say and will learn it after hearing it once. He's a genuis, I tell you!

I'll post picture of baby Maggie, LA, and the boys as soon as I feel like downloading them from the camera and uploading them to flickr. Which isn't right now....I'm going to go read my Bible and rest while the boys are down for a nap!
