So, are you all on facebook? Ok, so I know you probably are. Better late than never, though, right? I tried to sign up for facebook a long time ago, but it wouldn't let me because I have no school or work affilication. Umm, I'm just a mom, ok? (Well, I'm not just a mom, but you know what I mean.)
Anyway, they changed that and now it's just for anyone. They're stepping up their myspace competition. I wasn't that impressed with it at first. It's harder to use and I kept forgetting to login for days and weeks. Then, (the big THEN) I discovered so many long lost DTS friends. (Like, Laura, who reads my blog and never responds....thanks Laura!! haha Laura is my best dts friend. And, she's engaged now, and I know about this all thanks to facebook. wooohoo CONGRATS Laura!!!)
So, all of you that are already apart of it add me as your friend or contact or whatever facebookers call it. And, if you're not then signup and add me. Also, let me "send you beer" because I really want to know what that means, but I'm scared to push it and do something weird to someone I don't even know well. What does it mean, anyway?

ReplyDeleteI always thought social network sites were a bunch of hooey. Sort of like a glorified website guestbook with ridiculous conversations on the front page that mean NOTHING to anybody else. But then I had a few people, who I havn't seen or heard from in a long while, find me through Myspace and Linkedin. So I guess they do server a valid purpose.... But that still doesn't mean I have to like them... Bah! I'm like the old-man-that-wants-you-off-his-lawn

ReplyDeleteI got special mention on your blog! Thanks :) I'm glad you joined Facebook too! It can take up a lot of your time, but a good way to stay caught up on the lives of people you don't get to see or talk to very often. I'm so glad you found me on there and we're in contact again!! yea!
