Wimmy Wams is a healthy boy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIRANDA JAYNE! Today is my little sister's 17th birthday. So old!

Sammy Wams, Wammers, Wimmy Wams, etc..
Today was Samuel's 9 month well baby check up. There was good news and bad news.

I'll start with the bad news. Ellie was sick today, so I had to take both boys with me to Samuel's appointment. They've had a cold for about a week and a half and Samuel's has turned into the beginnings of bronchitis. Eric is going to pick up the antibiotics on his way home and he'll need to take it twice a day for a week. Poor baby! (Bronchitis is not contagious, only the cold that it starts out as is.)

The good news is that, other than the bronchitis, Samuel is SO healthy! He's big and strong and, obviously, has nothing wrong with him at all! He is now 22lbs, 5oz and 30 inches long and his head is 45cm around. His height is still in the 95th percentile (so tall!!!), but his weight has dropped down to the 75th percentile. He's still big, but because he's so active he's starting to lose some of his baby fat. Dr. Stanley predicted that he'll drop down to the 50% when he starts walking.

This month Samuel has perfected the art of crawling and pulling up. We even saw him standing for a few seconds the other day when he was distracted with a toy in each hand. He is into EVERYTHING and all that stuff automatically goes into the mouth. I usually vacuum everyday, but he still manages to constantly find stuff to put in his mouth. Yesterday he even ate a green crayon, which I found in his poop today. I just trust that God will protect him from anything poisonous or a choking hazard. Because, how in the heck do I stop him from putting everything in his mouth? I've definitely got the finger sweep down!

Everywhere we go people are still telling us what a happy baby he is. He only fusses when he's tired or hungry and even then, if you talk to him, he'll start smiling and cooing. We love our little curly-haired boy!

Eric completely re-did our website. Please check it out and let us know what you think. We plan to re-order our business cards that match the theme and we want to do it soon. So, feedback needed!

My friend Jenna also has her own business. She makes some AMAZING products (I use them all)- diaper clutches, designer burpies, and my personal favorite, the stylish and necessary nursing cover. Anyone that knew me when I nursed Judah, knew that I would practically have a panic attack every time I needed to feed him. What I love about the nursing cover is that you can see your baby (because of the boning), but with the tie around your neck there's no way the baby can pull it down. And, Jenna's a stylish girl and has tons of cute fabrics. You can buy her stuff on ebay or email her, or me, for more info!

  6. Tell Eric nice job on the website. It's nice to see authentic designs these days, there seem to be too many generic Web 2.0 designs hiding out there these days.
