Well, our day started out with my mom coming over to watch Judah, so I could take Samuel to get his 2 month shots. I thought it would be easier because I've done this once before, but oh no... It was still horrible hearing my baby cry from pain. I gave him his paci, but had to wait awhile to nurse him because there was some complications with our insurance (or lack thereof). Finally we left and came home to nurse him. After organizing and packing up some baby clothes my mom took us out to lunch to Hula's (mongolian BBQ), definitely the highlight of the day!
Since I lost my sunglasses at Laura's wedding rehearsal I wanted to get some trendy, cute, cheap ones from Lulu's. On our way downtown I see flashing lights and after a further look I see that it is ERIC!!! I couldn't turn right there, so I had to go all the way around the block with my heart beating and almost crying. I let my mom park the car, so I could run over there. The first thing Eric said to me was, "It wasn't my fault." Haha, that wasn't what I was worried about, I was just glad he was ok! What had happened is someone ran a red light, hit a truck, and that truck slid over and hit Eric's truck while he was on the other side of the 4 way stop. The truck is totaled, but Eric will get money to get a new one. So, we left because the 2 babies were in the car and Bill (my step-grandpa) said he could give Eric a ride.
I got my sunglasses, then we got some fun stuff for Judah at the Dollar Store. My mom came home with us and helped put Judah down for his nap, then she needed to leave, About a half hour after Judah fell asleep Samuel woke up SCREAMING! The screaming woke Judah up, but I couldn't rock him back to sleep because I was trying to get Samuel settled down. When Judah still hadn't fallen back asleep 45 minutes later I went to check on him and he had pooped. We got him all changed and situated and I made him stay in his crib. After 10 minutes of cryibg and yelling "out! out!" he finally fell asleep.
I picked Samuel up and carried him into the kitchen when he coughed and threw up 3 times all over himself, me, and the kitchen floor. This was not just a little bit of baby spit up, but a lot of milk everywhere! I called the nurse and she said as long as it doesn't happen again he's ok. My poor baby!
So now both babies are asleep and I'm trying not to freak out about everything that's gone on today. At least tomorrow Samuel & I are going to take Holly to the airport, go out to breakfast with Jill, then go shopping!
