We're Alive!!

Well, we've ALMOST got everything moved in. Moving is much longer and harder with two babies, but we really only have to get rid of some stuff and put a box of baby clothes away and we will be officially moved in. Our new apartment is SO much bigger and nicer. Pretty much every room is double the size. I'll have to take some pictures and post them asap.



We had our first visit from the fire department yesterday. We came home to a smoky house and could not find the source. We thought it could have been our upstairs neighbors, so Eric went and got the resident manager, who called the fire department. A few minutes later here come 2 fire engines and a fire truck with their lights and sirens on (great response time!). They had their full on fire gear on when they discovered that a sippy cup lid had fallen into the heating source of the dishwasher and burned. It smelled nasty, but thankfully was not a big deal. One of the fireman said, "You'll have to write this in the baby book." So, I said "Yeah, and can we get a picture?" So, now we'll always have evidence the fire department did come! :)



Judah and Samuel are both getting so big! Judah is now 22 months. I can't believe he'll be 2 in 2 months. The past two years have flown by. He is talking up a storm. Today he went up to his keyboard where a part has fallen off and said "Papa, fix. Mama, fix." I have no idea where he learned the word "fix." He's also putting words together and saying short sentences. One of my favorite thing he says is, "Mama, pease..." (please).

Samuel will be 4 months on the 30th and has his 4 month well baby visit on the 31st. We are so anxious to see how big he is. He's such a healthy, happy, easygoing little guy. A few weeks ago he rolled over from his stomach to his back and a few days after that from his back to his stomach. Yay! He's strong, too!
