80s Night

Well, this is what our family would have looked like 20 years ago! Unfortunately, I was only 7 in '89, so I missed out on all the fun 80s fashion. But, last night I got to relive it. It was definitely a flashback. I even had this great idea to go to Jon & Bon's (frozen yogurt) afterwards, because why spend the money on 80s clothes if you're not going to get full use out of them! So, about 10 of us (not including the rest of my fam) went downtown. We got a lot of interesting looks, but the funniest part was that I saw a girl with my same outfit- and she WASN'T dressing up!

  1. They say that 80s clothing is back in...I just can't figure out why. Just say no to skinny jeans :).

  2. Huh.... My cousin, who is 15, was wearing ripped jeans last week while I was in New York. The rips were too neat and corporate though.

    The 80s definitely had some bad music though.... I vote that it be used sparingly. Mostly for movies set during that decade. :P
