Well, I know I haven't been updating as much as I'd like to. And, that's because I've been overwhelmed with 2 kids. But, today I learned that the fear was greater than reality. (Isn't that how it usually is?) I've spent a significant amount of the last 3 weeks afraid to be alone with my babies. But, today Eric went to work and noone came over to help me. I'm proud to say everyone's alive, although Judah did burn his hand.
We have the lamp on the floor of our bedroom because the outlet behind the dresser isn't working and I need light at night when I'm feeding the baby. Judah usually just points to it and says "hot." While I was getting ready as soon as I heard his cry I knew what had happened. Poor baby! At least I was only a step away and there's no lasting damage. I think it scared him more than anything because I don't see anything on his hand. Although he has been pointing to it and saying "hot" all day.
So, after our little incident we went for a walk in the park! Getting the stroller out of the car and the babies in it was pretty easy. Getting it back in the car was another story. I managed to get it in there with only a little bit of dirt on my pants.
Then, we stopped at Taco Bell for lunch, ate lunch, talked with the neighbor, and all 3 took a nap. Now Judah is up watching his Baby Einstein video, so I have a moment to blog. And, all my fear is gone. I think I'm even ready to take them to the Barnes & Noble story hour. Heck, I'm ready for anything!

  2. I found your blog through GFF. You have a beautiful family . . and you love the Lord - even more wonderful! I noticed that you're from Chico. My friend is from Paradise and I was in her wedding a couple of years ago, so I've been to Chico a few times. It was my first In 'n Out experience :)
